Our weekend in the Alps At 0:30 at night on Friday 9th, we started our journey to the Austrian Alps. The travel took about 5 hours, so around 6 am we arrived at Saalbaach, our final destination.
I was quite surprised, because of the lack of snow. The only snow we saw was on the slopes, when we arrived to the ski resort Saalbach. The weather was very nice and everyone was excited to be there.
After a good day full of skiing or snowboarding, there was an amazing dinner waiting for us at the hotel. The next morning, we switched the ski resorts and spent our day in Hinterglemm. Everyone was enjoying another day full of sun, snow and fun.
On Sunday, we packed our cases, cleaned our rooms and headed to Leogang, the third and last ski centre on our list. The weather was as nice as on Friday and Saturday. We had less time that day, because we had to head home.
But it was very nice end to a very, very nice weekend.
