On 21st April, the students of our natural science seminar decided to join thousands of volunteers to clean our neighbourhood. We chose to clean rubbish mainly plastic. We went from Tyrš Bridge to Papírna Walking Bridge. We used protective gloves and plastic bags and we went on the left bank of the River Radbuza. We were cleaning all the rubbish. The terrain was very tough and rough - after days of raining it was muddy and waterlogged. The conditions were, let´s say, unfriendly. We were really conscientious and did a very good job. With this event we joined the whole country event “Let´s Clean Czechia”. I hope students were satisfied with their work.

On 29th April, another year of the event “Let´s clean Berounka” took place. Students of Masary Grammar School were cleaing the River Berounka shores from Bílá Hora to the weir in Bukovec. The bags with rubbish will be ecologically disposed by local city district UMO 4.  I would like to thank to all the students who came in their free time and did a great deal of work and cleaning.
