On 20th, 26th, 27th September and 5th October, third year classes and seminar of physics visited the moveable laboratory of Skoda Car Company, where they could get familiar with the latest trends and most modern technologies of present days.

As the first thing, an electro car was introduced to us. We could see the car from the outside as well as from the inside. Students were given a lecture, how these cars help to protect the environment, they could learn again how the electro engine works and they were also answered their sophisticated questions.

Our next stop was virtual reality, where the bravest ones could try to glaze the car doors (try it as precise as they could!). We could see how virtual reality can help us during learning different skills without spoiling and damaging anything.

Students were very interested in a drawing robot, which was designed in ČVUT mechanical department. We also got to know how 3D print works. It can be very precise. We could also ask AI different questions while being in the laboratory and we could discuss how correct the answers of AI were.

Our guides also reminded us the importance of cyber safety and I believe that our students were surprised which traps online they can come across.

The excursion was really great and we could learn a lot more about modern technologies and let us think about the future of technology.
