On 17th November, the class 3. B together with Mrs. Mervartova and Mrs. Kutna set on the trip to Prague. We visited The National Museum.

That time there was a unique object hidden in the neo-renaissance building behind the back of St. Venceslaus. We are talking about Venus of Vestonice. This eleven-centimetres big woman statuette created from crushed bones and a clay ago has been borrowed to Prague for several times already. It is one of the oldest statuettes of this type created in Upper Paleolithic somewhat 25 thousand years ago.

Despite the time that we didn´t have enough time, some of us were able to visit the exposition of minerals and the exhibition dedicated to the 50s of the last century, in our country. There were a lot of posters, statues, videos, clothes etc.

Then we moved to the Municipal House to see the exhibition of Alfons Mucha, the painter whose work is known all over the world even over the Atlantic, Some of the big paintings were set to move, so we could admire the work even more.

We enjoyed the excursion a lot and we hope there are more of these events.
