On Tuesday 2nd November, our class tercie A set on a trip to Prague. There was a real “all Saints” weather and we were very excited. We were heading towards the Prague castle. We didn´t want to conquer it. We only want to have a tour around it.

The tour started even before on the way to the Prague castle. The weather got a bit better and allowed us to stop at Jindrisská Tower, Gunpowder Tower or at Municipal House. Of course, we made s short stop at Oldtown Square and at Charles Bridge. It was great not to see crowded Prague while walking in a large group in the city centre. We were tracing St. Ludmila and 1100th anniversary of her death in the castle during a guided tour. Specifically, we stopped at Romanesque church of St. Mary, at St. Vitus Cathedral and also at St. George Basilic. We of course entered the Vladislav Hall and look at the famous windows for defenestration in Old Royal Palace. We also walked through Golden Street and Daliborka.

And because we are a class of good athletes, we manage to walk back to the train station. We went through Old Castle Stairs, Manes Bridge, Jan Palach Square, Josefov back to the Oldtown Square around the Estates Theatre and Carolinum we arrived back to Wenceslas Square which is not far from the Main Train Station Prague.

We arrived back to Pilsen at around 6 PM with a famous return song “Slava nazdar vyletu” and with a lot of great experiences and new knowledge.
