In the days from 24th to 26th of April KAB, KAA and some students of other classes went on an excursion to south Moravia. It was sunny and the average temperature was 26 °C.  Mrs. Drahokoupilová, Mrs. Korčáková, Mrs. Kloudová and Mrs. Šedivá went with the students too.

On the first day we left school at four o'clock. We went with a double decker bus. The driver and our guide were nice. Some students got power banks as a gift from them, because they helped the driver with luggage. We stopped at the gas station only once and we arrived at the three-star hotel Rustikal in Hustopeče approximately at nine o'clock. We got accommodated and we went to have dinner. On the first day it was chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes.

The second day began and for breakfast the hotel staff prepared buffet in the restaurant. First we visited Lednice-Valtice area. We saw the park, the castle and the Minaret. There we were until 12 o'clock and after that we set out to Pavlov. There we visited Archeopark and we went through Pálava. We climbed up Děvín and the ruins of the castle. It was strenuous, but everybody was pleased to see the Pálava from above. It was 6 o’clock when we arrived again at the hotel. This time, we had roast sirloin in sour cream sauce with dumplings for dinner.

On the last day we had buffet again and we left the hotel at 8 o'clock. We visited Kroměříž with its amazing garden. We also went in Sloupsko-šůšovsko caves. We learnt there something about the caves' history and we saw a lot of stalactites and even bats. We came back to school at 9 o'clock.

This excursion was interesting and instructive, we saw a new piece of our country. I recommend everyone to look there.
