At the beginning of September, Masarykovo gymnasium organized a trip to Vienna. It was for three days. From 7th to 9th September.

Our amazing journey started on Friday at 6 in the morning. We visited the Schloss Schönbrunn when we arrived to Wienna. We didn´t have much time there due to the delay. Later on our expedition, we got to the Jugendwohnheim (it was the place, where we stayed). The food there was amazing. Everything was healthy and there was also a vegetarian version of every meal.  After the dinner, we went to the Donauturm. The view was amazing.

On the second day, we visited the city centre of Vienna. We didn´t have much time there either. I visited the Kunsthistorisches Museum. It was amazing. Other students went to some restaurants, shops, to the Stephansdom or to other museums and memorials. We were also in the Prater (the biggest Lunapark, which was founded by Joseph II.) We enjoyed autodrom the most.

We had to go home at Friday, so we packed our things and left the accommodation at 10 o´clock. The last memorial we visited was Belvedere. The most known Austrian artists (for example Klimt and Schiele) have their paintings there. There was also an exhibition of medieval art. We got home at 11 p.m.

I personally enjoyed the Belvedere most and I highly recommend visiting Vienna. It´s a beautiful city full of magic.
