On Sunday 19th of March we started our skiing course. We travelled by bus and set off at 10 o’clock from our grammar school. The journey to Pec pod Sněžkou took about 4 hours. I was enjoying it.

We finally arrived in Pec pod Sněžkou at half past two pm.  Then we put our luggage in the snowcat and started walking uphill. We were walking for an hour. It was such a tiring climb. We were staying at Lyžařská bouda, a nice hotel near Hnědý vrch. In my opinion, they cooked very well - pasta, sauces, and Czech cuisine. We also had desserts for dinner. Our room was nice, but very tiny. However, our bathroom was really terrible, because the shower was leaking. The floor was wet all the time and we couldn't dry our towels.

We were in five groups for skiing. I was in group number four. Our group was skiing on a blue slope and every day we travelled by chairlift to Hnědý vrch. We also went cross-country skiing. We made a trip to Černá hora. It was 12 km away. There wasn't much snow and the weather was warm.

In the evening we were playing some games, for example a music quiz and we were having a lot of fun. The last day we set off home at three o’clock.  Our skiing course was fantastic and we were having a great time.
