We were looking forward to this excursion for years. Finally, it is here. On the 25th of May, our class kvinta B set on the trip to Prague.

We were supposed to be at the main train station in Pilsen at 7.30 AM and we met our teachers Mgr. Pěnková and Mgr. Mervartová. At 7.55 we got in Pendolino.

After the arrival we went to our first stop, which was the Museum of Charles Bridge. A great and kind guide took us to medieval times, when the Bridge was built. During the excursion there were a lot of questions connected with Charles IV., his faith, numerology and magic geometry. We also heard a lot of info about our saint Agnes of Bohemia and about Knights of the Cross with the Red Star. Then we went to have a look at the remains of Judith Bridge which was built from red sandstone mined in nearby Petřín.

Then we continued our excursion on the river Vltava. We went by a nice boat with another guide who was the captain and the steerswoman at the same time. Our journey started under the Charles Bridge, we reached the only bridge in Art Nouveau style, passed Devil´s Stream and returned to our starting point. We could learn a lot of amazing facts about the River Vltava.

The next stop of our trip was Lennon Wall where we took a lot of pictures. Then we went through the Charles Bridge, reached the Old Town Square. From this point we had our own routes to reach St. Wenceslaus Statue. This was the end of our trip. We bought the tickets to our train and headed home.

We are very tired after the trip. On the other hand we are full of new experiences and knowledge.
