Have you ever felt like you desperately needed a change, just a brief change in your life in order to keep yourself happy and vibrant? And then suddenly your hunger was filled and you felt like a complete human being again? All jokes aside, this is how this whole experience made me feel.

When I first applied back in September 2021, I felt kind of skeptical and insecure about the whole experience, yet was still excited to travel to Třebíč, meet new people, and have a nice 3 days long trip. Plus, I also had a positive feedback about previous sessions from one of my friends who attended a few ones in the past. But then, of course, everyone beloved COVID 19 decided to become more active again and the EYP social media team announced the 10th RSC Třebíč 2021 going hybrid, meaning it has taken place partly in an online environment and partly in the Officials' Hub in Třebíč. I thought it was such a big shame but as they all say, the show must go on.

The first day of the session was happening on more of a get-to-know-each-other note, which personally felt nice since we would have to work together for the next 2 or 3 days. All of the first anxiety in our committee fell off almost immediately after we found out we all have a lot in common and we all felt incredibly welcomed by both of our chairpersons. These two made this whole memory a great one along, of course, with all of the other delegates from our committee. The next day was in the spirit of working together, where we put our heads together to come to a sensible conclusion. Our joint hard work paid off on the third day of the session when the GA took place. It was the first time for all of us and although with some mistakes, we still did a great job and our resolution passed in the end.

The EYP team did such a spectacular job to make the hybrid session unforgettable and I believe all of their hard work paid off in the end. They made sure, despite having to attend from the comfort and discomfort of our homes, we were able to get to know each other and enjoy moments of conversation and shared fun together with the other delegates, chairpersons, and organizers.

During these three days we faced most of our fears, slowly managed our anxiety, tried our best to defend our assigned topic and most importantly made great new friendships and connections. All of those aspects ended in self-enrichment and personal growth which I will cherish for a long time.
