On 26th April, my and three other classes went on a school excursion to Moravia. We stayed there for two nights. The trip started on Tuesday morning and ended on Thursday evening. Our meeting point was at 8 a.m. in front of our school.
We went to Moravia by bus and we were listening to music together on the way there.

Our first stop was nearby Újezd u Brna. We visited the Memorial of peace. We had our guide there that gave us a little tour around. The guide told us a lot of valuable and interesting information, for example, this place is related to a historical event - the Battle of the three emperors. Then we travelled by bus to Hustopeče, where our accommodation was. Before dinner, we climbed up the local lookout tower.

We woke up pretty early on the second day. The first thing we did that day was a visit an almond house. The workers there taught us something about almond history and the production of almonds. We could also try some of their products. I liked it since the almonds were so tasty. In the afternoon, we explored Lednicko-Valtický area. This very nice complex belongs to the UNESCO. Later that day, we arrived at Pavlov and went on a 20 kilometres long trip.

On the last day, we visited wonderful gardens in Kroměříž. It is a very beautiful place. At the end of our excursion, we visited Sloupsko - Šošůvské caves. We had a chance to go inside the caves, therefore, we saw a lot of stalactites. After this visit, we returned to Plzeň. We had only a short stop for lunch in Jihlava.

I enjoyed this long trip. I was glad to spend some time with my class and others since it was the first longer excursion after covid. We had a very good time there and we also made a lot of new friendships.
