EYP Liberec was regional in-person session which, as name suggests, took place in Liberec in October this year. There were roughly 100 participants from which 70 were delegates. I and nine other great people participated as chairpersons so the session lasted 4 days for us. It lasted 5 days for organizers and 3 for the delegates. I had to travel for 3 hours to get there but other chairpersons were international so their travel was not so short.

On the first day of the session, I got there around lunchtime so I had time to accommodate myself in our room. Everyone was accommodated in rooms for two people and so was I. To be honest, I had the best roommate ever! His name was Páťa and we got with each other well. After I unpacked in our room, chairpersons had training which was till evening.

The second day started with another training which was till lunch. The goal of the training was to prepare us for working with delegates and I would personally say that it did that well. The next step happened after the lunch. Delegates came and the session officially started. We did teambuilding with then for the rest of the day.

The next day was committee work. They had to come up with problems and solutions regarding our topic and we had to guide them and make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. The whole day was very tiring and the fact that resolution typing awaited us didn't help either. Resolution is essentially all the problems and solutions the delegates came up with written in an easy-to-understand way. We also have to use certain phrases and specific structures for that.

The last day of the session was focused on the Grand Assembly (GA). It was a formal event and its main point was for the delegates to defend their resolution and attack others and also try to make our resolution pass. After the resolution debate, there is voting on whether the resolution should pass or not and our resolution passed! To be completely honest, this was one of the best experiences in my life and I will surely take part in EYP again.

I also took part in regional session of Třebíč which only happened digitally for delegates. It was very interesting being a delegate again after chairing. Although it was interesting, I wasn't able to enjoy it too much. I didn't like the fact it was digital too much but it was a great experience nevertheless! It would be hard for me to disregard the work organizers had to do to make sure the session runs smoothly considering the fact that they didn't even know it would be digital in the beginning because it was originally supposed to be in-person as well.
