This year we had 47 students participating. All together there were 24 343 students from 34 countries from 704 schools. Our three best students were Barbora Žáčková, oktáva A (110 out of 126 points), Michal Křižanovský, 4. B (108/126) a Tomáš Rajchman, oktáva B (107,5/126).  Out of 704 school our school was at 101st place, 31st (292 all together) in our country and 4th (out of 11) in our Region.

Here are some reactions of the students just after the test:

Pleasantly surprised by the difficulty, I appreciated a lot modern and present topics. Matěj Mihok, oktáva A

I love the listening with real interview and the way of test writing. Lucie Ptáčníková, 4. A

Nice and understandable listening, interesting actual topics for reading. Thu Trang Nguyen, 4. A

This was a very interesting experience. It was unique and fun. I definitely can recommend it. Anonymous comment

Compared to last year I found this test to be a bit more intuitive and related to my own interests. The listening exercises were fairly interesting. Thanks a lot. Růžena Matulová, septima B

Other than the multiple passing, quite a struggle, I think the test was composed of relatively straightforward questions and exercises. Provided that, there´s the chance next year, I´ll gladly take on the challenge. Jana Hanzlíková, 3. B

At first the grammar part seemed pretty difficult but as I continued it made more sense. The reading part was quite long and sometimes a bit confusing. I liked that the listening comprehension used real interviews, not just stayed ones. Adam Bardoun, 3. B

I didn´t want to go at first, but in the end it was really lovely! I really enjoyed some of the texts and I learnt a lot of new information. My results were satisfactory as well as I am content. Matyáš Matta, septima B

It was good, I enjoyed it greatly and the topixs were relevant.  David Řehoř, 3. B

I enjoyed this activity. I also found the topics that were mentioned throughout the test really interesting. The hardest part for me personally was to fill in the sentences into the whole text. Emma M. Milovníková, septima A

I found this to be an interesting experience in a whole and I will participate next year. Anonymous comment

I got scared at first seeing the amount of exercises we had to do, but as I started doing them they eventually were done. The difficulty was adequate for my level of English, where they were challenging but not impossible. Ondra Tichý, 3. B

I didn´t know what to expect anything, but it was a great experience. Some questions were hard but I still managed to answer them all. The only thing I wished I had were noise-reducing headphones. The clicking from the others distracted me. Anonymous comment

At first, I thought “I cannot make it” the first exercise appeared to as the most demanding one, so I think I´ve kind of struggled. The listening part was great, I understood everything, I think it was the easiest part I suppose the next year it will be much easier for me. Nguyen Mai Anh, 3. B
