When I found out that American students are going to visit us, I was really excited to see them. I must say that I was very nervous at first but all the stress fell off me the moment they entered our classroom. Their kindness and pure hearts were absolutely clear the moment I saw them.

I really feel that our meeting was amazing. While I was listening to them, I was proud of myself that I understood almost everything they were saying. But I was mostly surprised about their opinions on our country. I believe there wasn´t anyone form the group who wouldn´t agree that our nation is great. Speaking for myself, I was also really amazed that they all were shocked because of our silence, quiet streets and public transportation as they have very noisy streets and practically no public transport. I´ve never realized it until they mentioned it. Another thing which was new to me was the fact that most of the students were home schooled and some of them have never visited public school before.

Their visit was a great experience and opportunity to have a nice talk with students of our age from a foreign country. Their positive relationship to our food, architecture and people cheered me up because thanks to them I reminded myself that there are many things in our country we can be proud of.
