September 5th-7th, 2018
Everything started at 9 o'clock on 5th September 2018. Three coaches appeared in front of the school and took us to the recreation centre called Pod Kempem located at Jesenice near Rakovník. Everybody made groups of six people and got the keys to the cabins. After we unpacked our clothes and other things out of our bags we went to a fireplace and we played some games to get to know each other. Then we had our first lunch, which was spaghetti. After lunch we continued playing games and we started to make our class T-shirts. After some time we went to a camp which was located next to ours. There we learned how to use a magnetic compass because of a night game.
The next day we talked about our worries and expectations and then we learned about the basics of first aid. After that we played some games again. Our last night there was incredible. We were sitting around the campfire, one boy was playing the guitar and all of us were singing. We sang English songs as well as Czech songs and everything was just great. We are all so grateful that we had the chance to get to know each other. I think that the adaptation course really achieved what it was meant to achieve.
