THE ENDLESS WAITING
(Picture number 1)

STANDING ALONE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE,
WAITING FOR A TRAIN THAT NEVER COMES.
HAS ANYONE SOMETHING TO SAY OR SHARE?
IS THERE ANYTHING WHICH ISN´T DUST?

TIME RUNS SLOWER AND SLOWER,
THE BLUE SKY IS MY ONLY FIREND.
EVERY SECOND FEELS LIKE AN HOUR,
WILL I ALSO TURN INTO SAND?

I AM FEELING HOPELESS NOW,
AM I JUS AN EMPTY SHELL?
I DON´T HAVE ANYTHING TO SHOW,
WHERE IS THE DIFFERENCE, HEAVEN OF HELL?

I LOST THE REASON TO TRY,
I LOST THE REASON TO LIVE,
EVEN NOW I HAVE BEEN TO SHY,
I HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE.

SHOULD I JUST END ALL THIS?
OR IS IT A WORTH TO WAIT?
DOES A MAN WHO STILL LIVES,
STRONGER OF WEAKER FAITH?

STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE,
WAITING FOR A TRAIN THAT NEVER COMES.

Filip Wintr, kvinta B

TIME
(Picture number 4)

THE FEELING OF BEING LONELY,
FEELING SADNESS ONLY.
FEAR OF BEING FORGOTTEN
AND YOU JUST WANT IT TO END.
TIC TAC
THE CLOCK IS SLOWLY TICKING
-DO SOMETHING SO YOU CAN BE THE KING.
KING OF YOUR TIME AND OUR FREEDOM
IN YOUR OWN LONELY KINDOM.
YOU CAN WALK THROUGH THE TOWN
AND BE RECOGNIZED BY YOUR RED GOWN.
TIC TAC

YOU DON´T HAVE MUCH TIME.
YOU CAN´T JUST SIT HERE AND DRINK WINE.
IT´S LATE AT NIGHT AND EVERYBODY´S SLEEPING,
JUST THE LAST LAMP IS WEAKLY GLOWING
TIC TAC

YOUR TIME IS ALMOST DONE.
TAKE YOUR LAST BREATH AND YOU´RE GONE.
NOW YOU´RE IN YOUR KINGDOM.
ALONE AND HAPPY TO HAVE FREEDOM.

Simona Melicharová, kvinta B

(Picture number 4)
THE LAST GRAIN OF SAND SLIPS FROM OUR GRASP,
THE TIME STOPS – WE´RE THE ONLY ONES LEFT.
QUICKLY WE ESCAPE IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT
NEVER LOOKING BACK, WITH ONLY ONE THOUGHT ON OUR MINDS.
DRESSED IN A HOODED CLOAK I RUN FROM ALL THE PAIN,
TOR ALLTHE YEARS IN MISERY IT WOULDN´T GO AWAY.
I MAKE MY WAY DOWN TO THE FOREST WHERE MY TREE HOME LAYS.

THE OWLS, THE WOLVES, THE DEERS STAY STILL, STOPPE IN
THE MIDDLE OF WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN.
DARKNESS IS SLOWLY DEFEATED BY LIGHT, HOT TONGUES
OF FIRE SHINING BRIGHT.
SEEING MY BRETHREN MAKES MY HEART BURST IN JOY,
IT´S BEEN TOO LONG, I´M SURE I WOULDN´T SURVIVE ANYMORE.
THE HAPPY CHATTER AND THE BUZZ OF CROWD IS
SOMETHING I LONGED FOR LATE AT NIGHT.
THIS IS MY HOME AND I COULDN´T HAVE IT ANY OTHER
WAY, BECAUSE ONLY HERE I FEEL JOYOUS AND SAFE.

Jaroslava Štruncová, 1. B

(Picture number 4)
AS YOU SIT IN YOUR CHAIR
SINGING A SWEET LULLABY
AS YOU WATCH THE LAMPS´ LOW
TIME IS RUNNING BY

HIDING IN THE BLACK SHADOWS
AS CAUTIOUS AS A SAMURAI
COVERED IN THE NIGHT´S DARKNESS
TIME IS RUNNING BY

YOU THINK THAT YOU SAW MOVEMENT
MUST´VE BEEN A FLY
YOU LOOK ONTO THE STREET´S PAVEMENT
TIME IS RUNNING BY

AS YOU WATCH THE PAVEMENT
SINGING A SWEET LULLABY
AS YOU WONDER WHAT TO DO
TIME IS RUNNING BY

AS YOU LOOKED ACROSS THA NARROW STREET
UNDER THE LAMP´S CONE
YOU SAW A FIGURE
TIME STOPPED

CHILLS
(Picture number 2)

IN THIS CHILLING FROSTY CAVE,
MANY PEOPLE FOUND THEIR GRAVE
IN TEN MINUTES I´LL FIND MINE TOO,
EVERYTHING´S SAD, EVERYTHING´S BLUE

BUT FURTHER IN, THERE IS A LIGHT,
I HAVE TO GET THERE, IT SHINES SO BRIGHT,
HALLUCINATION? I DON´T KNOW,
MY LEGS ARE FREEZING, I SHOULD GO.
BUT I CAN´T MOVE AND I CAN´T SPEAK,
STUNNED BY THAT CREATURE, I´M SO WEAK
I HAVE TO SEE IT, I HAVE TO TRY
SEE IT AGAIN
BEFORE I DIE.

Ondřej Němec, 3. B

FORSAKEN
(Picture number 2)

SITTING INSIDE
THIS COLD EMPTY ROOM
THINKING OH WAIT.
IS THIS THE DOOM?

LOCKED UP THOUGH HIDDEN
THINKING THOUGHTS SO FORBIDDEN
ANY INNER DEMON HAS RISEN
THIS BIPOLAR GLOOM.

LOVING BUT HATING,
CRYING BUT LAUGHING
HERE AGAINST MY PASSION
FIGHT THE DEPRESSION.

ICY BUT WARMTHFUL
THOUGH JUST SO HARMFUL
THIS LITTLE BEAR OF STONE
STANDING IN THE UNKNOWN.

IT SHALL GET UP!
TAKE ALL OF MY PAINS!
BUT HERE COMES THE BEAR
AND FREEZES MY VEINS.

David Grossmann, sexta A

INTO THE UNKNOWN
(Picture number 2)

INTO THE UNKNOWN I MUST GO,
IT DOESN´T SEEM RIGHT, BUT I KNOW
THAT MY HEART WON´T FAIL ME, THAT MY HEART´LL SHOW,
SHOW ME THE RIGHT PATH TO FOLLOW.

INTO THE DARKNESS THIS PATH MIGHT LEAD,
TO A PLACE MY EYES HAVE NEVER SEEN.
A DUNGEON OF HORRORS WHERE NOONE´S EVER BEEN.
YET WHAT MAY FEEL LIKE A NIGHTMARE MIGHT JUST BE THE DREAM.

INTO WHAT TO ONE´S EYES MIGHT LOOK QUITE SHALLOW
A STATE OF MIND THAT MAKES ONE´S SOUL PLAINFIVELY HOLLOW.
YET I´M SURE THAT IN SUCH A LONELY PLACE I WILL FIND A FELLOW
LONER, AND, FOR THATI IS THE COLOR OF HOPE, OUR VISIONS WILL TURN YELLOW.

OUR LIGHT SHALL TERRIFY THE DARK THAT´S ALL AROUND,
OUR FEET SHALL FINALLY MEET THE LONG DESIRED GROUND.
OUR DEMONS WON´T HAVE A PLACE IN THIS NEW LIFE WE´LL HAVE FOUND,
IN OUR SAFE HOME WITH HOW ALANUS TO FIND.

INTO THE UNKOWN, WHERE EVERYTHING IS NEW,
IT FEELS SO WRONG, YET IT´S RIGHT, I KNBOW THAT TO BE TRUE.
I CAN FEEL MY HEART TELLING ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO.
IT WILL BE A LONELY JOURNEY, SO I HOPE TO SEE YOU, TOO.

Matěj Bureš, septima A

RED DEATH
(Picture number 4)

THE WORLD IS PITCH BLACK
LIKE THE DEEPEST UNDERGROUND PITS.
THE STARS ARE HIDING THEIR FACES,
COVERING THEIR EYES
WITH THEIR SHINY SILVER HANDS.
THEY DON´T WANT TO SEE
THE PITIFUL PLACE THAT IS EARTH.

PEEKING THROUGH THEIR SHINY SILVER FINGERS,
THEY CATCH A GLIMPSE OF
RED.

REDDER THAN RED BLOOD
REDDER THAN RED ROSES
REDDER THAN SWOLLEN RED LIPS OF SECRET LOVERS.

A LEAN RED FIGURE
SLIDING THROUGH THE NIGHT
SOUNDLESSLY.
ILLUMINATED BY A LONELY TERRIFIED LAMP-POST.

TERRIFIED AS YOU AND I SHOULD BE
FOR THERE IS NO ESCAPE
FROM THE READ DEATH.

SHE´S COMING.
FOR YOU,
FOR ME,
FOR EVERYONE.
SLIDING THROUGH THE NIGHT
SOUNDLESSLY.

THE CLOCK IS TICKING…

Anežka Hurtová, sexta A

BUT I DIDN´T
(Picture number 5)

I DIDN´T WANT TO GO THERE.
BUT I DID.
I DIDN´T WANT TO STAND THERE.
BUT I DID.
I WANTED TO RUN AWAY.
BUT I DIDN´T.
I CLOSED MY EYES IN FEAR.
FEAR OF FEELING THE PAIN.
I CLOSED MY EYES NOT TO SEE.
THE THING THAT CAUSES PAIN.
I WAS READY TO DIE.
BUT I DIDN´T.

YOU SAVED ME WITH YOUR LOVE.
BUT I DIDN´T KNOW.
YOU SAVED ME WITH YOUR SMILE.
BUT I DIDN´T KNOW.
YOU EXPECTED ME TO THANK YOU
BUT I DIDN´T.

YOU SOFTLY TOOK MY HAND.
AND LOOKED STRAIGHT INTO MY EYES.
YOU FELT THAT FEELING.
WHEN YOU LOOKED INTO MY EYES.
YOU WARMLY SMILED AT ME.
BUT I DIDN´T.

YOU SAID WE´D GO HOME.
AND I SLIGHTLY NODDED.
YOU SQUEEZED MY HAND IN LOVE.
AND I REALLY FELT IT.
YOU EXPECTED ME TO LOVE YOU.
BUT I DIDN´T.

YOU SAVED ME.
AND I´M GRATEFUL.
YOU CARED ABOUT ME
AND I´M GRATEFUL.
YOU WANTED ME TO LOVE YOU.
BUT I DIDN´T.

THE YEARS FLEW BY LIKE WATER.
WE FINALLY MEET AGAIN.
YOU ASKED ME:
“DO YOU LOVE ME NOW? “
AND I SAY”
“I DO.”
